New Wild West Artwork!
Debuting all new logo and cover art
Hello! You may have noticed that The Wild West Extravaganza has new cover art on various podcast players, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
We’ve gone through several iterations over the last few years, most of which I designed myself, but the time finally came to hire a professional. Big thanks to Mark DeCoates at Podcastbranding.co for bringing this image to fruition!
Mark was even kind enough to design a logo.
I’ve used these designs to set up a new online store dedicated to Wild West Extravaganza Merchandise. This is not the same merch store that was previously available. I’m hoping that by going with a better merch provider, the quality of products will meet our standards.
I’m keeping things simple for now. There are a few different t-shirt designs, hoodies, and stickers. If there are any other products you’d like emblazoned with the Wild West Extravaganza logo, email me, and I’ll see what I can do.
Tote bags, beanies, crop tops, bucket hats, sweaters, joggers, notepads, wife-beaters, and even cardigans and flip-flops are all options, but I won’t bother making them available unless there seems to be a demand.
What’s Coming
Tomorrow, I’ll release an episode on an English-born gambler/gunman, John Bull.
Bull first arrived in Montana in the early 1860s and made quite a name for himself in various boom towns across the West. And despite being shot numerous times, John Bull was one of the few to live to an old age and die with his boots off. Other notable Old West killers, such as Jim Moon and Farmer Peel, were also discussed. Hell, even Mark Twain makes an appearance! This will go live tomorrow - Wednesday, June 18th - but if you’re impatient, it is already available ad-free via Patreon and IntoHistory.
Next week, we’re revisiting the Billy the Kid/Brushy Bill Roberts saga. I know I’ve already covered this extensively, but I wanted to address some common misconceptions people have regarding the Kid and Brushy Bill. Much of this episode will focus on dispelling myths and answering questions that I constantly address via emails and comments. I’ll also finally address whether or not Billy the Kid was a girl!!!!
