Happy Wednesday! This morning I released an episode of The Wild West Extravaganza titled Jose Chavez y Chavez, featuring the very real Lincoln County Regulator of the same name. I also took the opportunity to discuss a few of the other Regulators and pals of Billy the Kid. As promised on that episode, I thought I’d share a few photos of these real-life Old West figures.

Jose Chavez y Chavez

These are the only two photos of Chavez I could find. Both appear to be him while in prison.

A grainy photo, allegedly of Vicente Silva. I do not know the story behind the bandage.

Henry Newton Brown

Rumored to be the youngest Regulator, Yginio Salazar, in his prime and as an older man.

Tom Pickett

Tom Pickett. Arrested with Billy the Kid at Stinking Springs. Hashknife cowboy, Marshall, & Sheriff.

Billy Wilson

Billy Wilson aka David L. Anderson. Lincoln County Counterfitter turned Sheriff.

Dave Rudabaugh

Dave Rudabaugh should have never gone to Mexico.
