I am interested in the group of scouts. I have a postcard showing Curley, White Man Runs Him, and two other scouts at the graveyard at Wounded Knee. The picture was taken many years after the events. I have an amazing story that i have given talks about having to do with the postcard. The talk was entitled How John NIehardt (of Black Elk Speaks fame) Answered my Question Twenty Years after he Died. It has to do with a ring on Curley's finger. Neihardt and Curley were blood brothers. The ring signified their connection. How Neihardt communicated the answer was through the postcard.
